How to Submit a Cancellation Request

Cancellation requests submitted through unofficial channels (e.g., social media messaging, guide text messages, third-party websites) are not considered valid.

2. Cancellations Made Less Than 24 Hours Before Departure

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the tour’s departure time are not eligible for a full refund.

Instead:

  • A $50 cancellation fee per person applies.
  • The remainder of your booking cost will be refunded to your original payment method.

Example

If your tour costs $159 per person:

  • Cancellation fee: $50
  • Refund issued: $109

3. No-Shows

Guests who:

  • Do not show up at the meeting point
  • Arrive too late to join the tour
  • Provide no notification prior to departure

…are considered no-shows and are not eligible for any refund.

4. Late Arrivals

Our tours operate on a strict schedule to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all guests.

If you arrive after the tour has departed:

  • The guide will be unable to wait
  • The tour cannot be re-joined at a later stop
  • No refund will be issued

5. Tour Cancellations by See Sight Tours

We may cancel or reschedule a tour due to:

  • Severe weather
  • Safety concerns
  • Operational issues
  • Unexpected closures or emergencies

If See Sight Tours cancels your tour, you will be offered:

  • A full refund, OR
  • The option to reschedule to a different date or time (subject to availability)

There are no cancellation fees for tours cancelled by See Sight Tours.

6. Third-Party Bookings

If you booked through:

  • Online travel agencies (Viator, GetYourGuide, TripAdvisor, etc.)
  • Hotel concierges
  • Travel agents
  • Promotional partners

Your refund must be processed through that same provider, following their refund terms.

See Sight Tours cannot override third-party cancellation rules.

7. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-refundable, regardless of cancellation timing:

  • Booking fees or processing fees charged by third-party marketplaces
  • Gift cards, vouchers, or promotional credits
  • Optional add-ons that have already been redeemed or reserved (e.g., attraction tickets, private upgrades)
  • Private tours cancelled within 72 hours of departure unless stated otherwise in the private tour agreement

Refunds are processed promptly once approved.

Standard Refund Timeline
  • See Sight Tours processes refunds within 3–5 business days.
  • Your bank, card issuer, or payment gateway may require 5–10 additional business days to post the refund.

Total Estimated Timeline: 8–15 business days, depending on your financial institution.

Refunds can only be issued to the original payment method.

9. Modifying Your Booking

Changes to your reservation—date changes, guest count adjustments, or tour swaps—are permitted based on availability.

Modification Rules:

  • Requests made 24+ hours before departure may be accommodated at no charge.
  • Requests made within 24 hours are treated as cancellations and subject to the $50 per person cancellation fee.
